Indications
Food supplements containing vitamin
C are used mainly in the following cases: Vitamin C deficiency treatment and prevention, or so-called scurvy.

Associated Conditions
C supplements should be used with caution under doctor supervision in the following cases: smoking.
Bloody-toxin deposition disease (Haemochromatosis).
Pre-disease with kidney stones.
Low sodium diet.
C for pregnant and nursing women can be used safely during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but the doctor must be consulted prior to its use during that period; to determine the appropriate dose per woman, generally not to exceed 2,000 mg per day for women aged and over.
