Mechanism of action
Zuclopenthixol is a neuroleptic from the thioxanthenes family.
It acts by blocking dopamine receptors
It also has alpha atropinic and sympatholytic effects.
Clinically, zuclopenthixol is a neuroleptic that is characterized by an antipsychotic and anti-hallucinatory effect, as well as a sedative effect.
