Mechanism of action
Indometacin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug belonging to the group of indolics, and has the following properties: analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and platelet function inhibition.
All of these properties are related to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
