Mechanism of Action
Gentamicin is a bio-antibiotic that belongs to a group of drugs known as Aminoglycoside, used to treat many bacterial infections, such as bacterial eye infection.
Antibiotics kill bacterial gentamicin by stopping bacterial growth and preventing protein processing in the bacterial cell by linking to Ryposome 30S units, and have a wide effect on different types of negative bacteria and some cluster strains.
