Mechanism of Action
Mechanism of action
Amoxicilline is an antibiotic in the beta-lactam family of the aminopenicillin group.
Critical concentrations separate susceptible strains from intermediate and intermediate susceptibility strains from resistant strains: S 16 mg/l; CMI (minimum inhibitory concentration) pneumococcal: S 2 mg/l.
