Indications

Treatment of venous thrombosis and thromboembolic disease including deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in adults.

For some patients with pulmonary embolism (e.g. those with severe hemodynamic instability) alternative treatment, such as surgery or thrombolysis, may be indicated.

Prolonged treatment of venous thromboembolic disease and prevention of recurrence in adult patients with active cancer.

Associated Conditions

Hemorrhagic disorders

Caution is recommended when d-administration of d-innohep to patients at risk of haemorrhagic disorders.

For patients at risk of major haemorrhage, Combination with medicinal products affecting platelet function or coagulation system should be avoided or closely monitored.

Innohep intramuscular injections should not be injected Intramuscular due to risk of haemorrhagic disorders.

Taking into account the risk of d-haemothematoma, concomitant intramuscular injections should also be avoided.

Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia
