Indications
Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever.
Adult and child from 50 kg (about 15 years).
Associated Conditions
Because of the unit dose of paracetamol per sachet (1000 mg or 1 g), this presentation is not suitable for children less than 50 kg. Patients should be informed that they should not take any other medicines containing paracetamol.
Taking multiple doses as a single dose can seriously damage the liver; if necessary, the patient should immediately call a doctor.
In a child treated with 60 mg/kg/day paracetamol, the combination of another antipyretic is justified only in case of ineffectiveness.
In case of acute viral hepatitis, it is necessary to stop treatment.
Precautions for use
