Follitropin alfa
Mechanism of action Follitropin alfa (FSH) is a sexual and modulatory hormone of genital function, gonadotrophins.
In women, the most important effect of parenteral administration of FSH is the development of mature De Graaf follicles.
In anovulatory patients, the goal of treatment with GONAL-f is to develop a single mature De Graaf follicle from which the oocyte will be released after administration of hCG.
